It was reported that he agreed a one year deal back in August, however it was also reported at the time that it wasn't signed.

Theres been a lot of water under the bridge at Sharks since then; its more than possible that since Barba left he asked them to match what we originally offered?

With the rate at which our rivals bums-on-seats signings are falling, at least we're not losing out on the squad we have at the moment! Leeds hooker options without Segeyaro make Tommy Lee look like a good idea!

I'd much rather the club kept their powder dry and kept chasing players of Lewis's quality then signing a couple more squad fillers. Segeyaro, Solomona and Sandow means there's likely a good amount of movement still to come, and we're in a position to capitalise should the right person become available.

I'd rather chase and miss out on players of Lewis's quality than sign 3 or 4 more Peyrouxs for next year.

Agree Peyroux is a dud , however raw and/or unknown is not always bad.

The two unknowns signed by Cas will go well as will Brinning at Salford.
