Anyone know the severity of this or how it happened? I could see his hand was red from the back of the South stand, and watching the game back on sky you could see the blood pouring out of his head. I watched the incident a few times, but couldn't see the cause.
Does anyone know how he is; is it just a severe gash?

This year, i'm all about simon grix making the cup final squad, he's missed out on the previous two, down to injury i think, whether he'd be a choice i can't recall, but he definately deserves to actually have a chance to win a medal this year.

Gary Chambers was singing Grixs praise's on Wire fm commentery yesterday. Saying he is very underrated player good trainer etc etc etc. |

This is what I thought, but wasn't sure he missed out on both. He definitely flies under the radar, like Riley did until recently. |

He might not play on Friday (head injury etc), but I'm confident he'll be in the 17 for Wembley.
He'd be in that team on merit - not just because he's missed out previously.

The winning team gets 25 medals to hand out to their 'players and officials', so I assume 19 to the team and 1 for TS. Don't know about the other 6, but they could certainly give him one if they wished, and I think everybody would agree he is in the '1st choice 17' for Wire. |
