Michael Carter is an accountant by trade and recently came into a significant amount of money; not enough to bankroll a SL club in a Ken Davey-esque way, but he's certainly not short of a bob or two.

I think he was also the first director to join the board shortly after 1873 was formed.
Wasn't his money made with a bus company , the Yorkshire traction company in Barnsley seems to ring a bell. |
