Player of year (so far) for me this year. Best hooker we have had for some time.

I think the lads a grafter is he realy the best hooker we have had for some time. I'm not sure he fits that bill but I would like him about for any new coach. For me I would like to see him take on the line more and speed up at play the ball.

Who was better? His passing, apart from a few forward passes are better than most hookers we've had. Tackles as hard as any but Aston, has a kicking game that none of the others had and is pretty quick off the mark too.

McShane's "kicking" game is atrocious, and a high percentage of his passes are forward. So I wouldn't be upset if he left, and to call him the best 9 we have ever had is ridiculous. Obst, Ellis, Rinaldi, Aiton imo are higher up the list than McShane.
