Don't know much about him, other than watching him slide down the pecking order at Leeds and a short loan spell at our neighbours. A 1 1/2 year deal makes it sound imminent, but hooker is possibly the last place we need any reinforcements given we have 3 in our squad already. I'd sooner give Carlile a run there than bring in anyone else.

At the moment with the hookers we have he wouldn't improve the squad.I think Hodgson and Withers work well as a pair.

Would be surprised if this signing happened unless Sandercock sees Josh Hodgsons future in the back row and doesnt rate Carlisle. I quite like the look of Carlisle though in the small spells that ive seen.
