Ikram is a development officer in Bradford. He is a thoroughly decent chap if slightly disorganised at times.

I remember him playing more as a winger then a centre though!

He has written an autobiography "Tries and Prejudice" which has just been published. There is some background to that here.

Ikram played at Leeds Rhinos and Fev Rovers and was one of the toughest and best English Centres in his day. I think he is working for Leeds Rhinos in developing the game amongst Ethnic Minority People in the Leeds area. Ikram has a Brother Tony who also played at Leeds a few years back'"
