Okay miamivice I'll eat some humble pie on the AGM's after double checking to the Companies Act 2006 (I trained in the 90's). The Act does now allow private companies to opt out of AGM's but does however have a requirement on company accounts "although companies are still required to send them to shareholders, in hard copy or electronically, in accordance with the communications provisions." To what extent will these accounts be sent out on a timely basis? So far they sent me part of the 2007 accounts (when they should have sent the full set of published accounts). I'd be interested to know when we get hold of the 2008 and 2009 accounts?
