A ten team league is crazy. Uneven fixture lists and with play offs and the Cup potentially playing some teams four or five times a season.
Is it though? For quite a few years super league hasn't been able to sustain 12 quality teams, there tends to be teams that just aren't competitive or teams that are in financial trouble, if you go back the past few seasons you've had:
Salford and Huddersfield this year
Us and London in 2024
Wakefield in 2023
Toulouse in 2022
Leigh in 2021
Toronto in 2020 etc
A competitive 10 team league, even if it has teams playing each other 3 times, will be far more appealing to broadcasters than the current league with 12 teams where you know at least 1 or 2 will be uncomeptitve each year and lead to blow out scores.
