I visit FB for the scores and news don't comment at the usuals will just swarm over anything I post. Glad they won today and it does mean that the last game of the season for us could be who wins the league its in our hands now.
The proof will be in the pudding one swallow doesn't make a summer - outright promotion was the objective for the season, which suddenly became promotion via playoffs, failure to achieve either of these should lead to a good clear out at many levels across the club. Success will also require significant investment into the playing squad we have a solid core but the Championship is another level.
That last seven minutes was pretty frantic...how the Dons kept them from scoring is to their utter credit and determination....and just a nice slice of fortune.
It looked like all McNally had to do was fall over the line..
And all Paga had to do was chip over a defender....
And they buggered both up!
They will be livid!!!
Nice to have the breaks we didn't get at Dewsbury!
They rode their luck well and managed a comeback - the tackling for their hooker's try was non-existent, and we do look soft in defence on our right edge.
Areas from improvement, new FB looks a good lad, hopefully, we can keep him for the rest of the season, to provide cover and maybe move EH around a bit or visa versa.
