 Two great achievements with unfancied teams must surely put him in contention for a Super League job. Bradford perhaps next year?

Well I can't see him being paid that much by Batley. A Super League position might be far more tempting for him. |

 , very happy at batley. he has got a furniture business in yorkshire which keeps him busy.  plus is brother in law is ce at batley. he says there is no pressure on him at all.

I can't see them being accepted into Super League, but if they continue to grow they could be Champions in a few years time.

He was a tough guy, that was for sure. Who were our other props that day? I remember Joynt played prop in the 1st test. I think Skerret was past it at that stage, but I don't think the likes of O'Connor and Sampson had come about. Was it Andy Platt? |
