Is there any truth that they may be changing the date next year so that this happens before the oylimpics get under way?

The Olympics closing ceremony is on 12th August. With this years CC final been on the 27th, there shouldnt be a problem next year.

Yes but then the paralympics start I think

They start on the 29th August and will not be using Wembley.

Just checked and there are games from end of July until 7th August

I have heard this mentioned by people but I haven't seen any official announcement from the RFL

I heard a while back that it would be played in June or July.

We'll just have to wait until the details are announced - won't be long after this years final so we haven't got long to wait

so knowing the RL the q/f will be 2 weeks before wembley. and s/f a week

Aren't the Paralympics on Channel 4 rather than the BBC?

No clash with TV schedules and no clash with venue would suggest no reason to change.
