 | It is always pleasing to beat Wigan. We looked organised, composed & together. Lui looks very good & allows Dobson to play wider. Jones promising in the centre but looked unfit. O'Brien at full back did well, taking many kick & looked comfortable.Pack played well as a unit as well as running hard & tackling ferociously.
Wigan lacked some first teamers but you can only beat what is in front of you. It was 32-0 until lots of changes were made by Watson. Johnston has really bulked up & Caton-Brown is still rapid, catching Manfredi when he was clear from the opposite wing.
I hope this performance can be taken into the real season.

Agree with the above. Some big improvements there for all to see - liked the much deeper lines in attack and our half backs were excellent. Team spirit has returned.

But we would sell less hospitality packages. I agree with you though, Lancashire teams on a Sunday, Yorkshire teams on a Friday night would be fine

 | Think the squad depth if good, though not sure some of the backs would appreciate a visit from the out of season testers.

Could say the same about the reverse fixture, last few seasons the games have been Fridays and Saturday evenings

Anyway, hope to see a good few come over

 | I prefer that we play on a Friday because it gives us more time to rest up for the Saints game the following Thursday and it means waiting two less days to watch Salford play.

 | I watched the full game on Wigan TV, I was very impressed with Adam Walne, Ryan Lannon & Josh Jones.
