Kind of reminds me of Liam Sutcliffe, trying to squeeze a player capable of playing several positions into the 17.You could make the argument of being able to sign better in any of those roles though. I know he bleeds Leeds but is that enough?

When Smith is fit he'll almost certainly resume at 13, allowing Palasia to return to prop with Lisone losing his place on the bench. I get that Smith hasn't quite become the player fans wanted him to be, but he's captain, Arthur likes him and until such time as a young player ( Cassell/Gannon) develops into a genuine modern 13 he'll likely be a starter.

I hope Smith makes a fast and full recovery, but I’m in no rush to see him back on the field. For the time being I would like to see minimal game time for Frawley and see how the team evolves without either him or Cameron Smith.

Yep, I get that view, especially re Frawley. I also think Palasia is knocking it out of the park at 13, but when Smith returns we'll be stronger as a team because he just offers more as a middle forward than Lisone does. If we dip into the NRL and recruit another prop of Jenkins/Palasia standard for next year, Cam will be under a lot more pressure. At that point we could have a pretty fearsome pack.
