After 11 weekly rounds of Super League, the Bulls made the short journey to Dewsbury to take on the Rams in the 4th Round of the Challenge Cup.



With McNamara taking the chance to rest some of the first team squad, this week gives the opportunity for some of the fringe players to make a claim for a regular spot... as well as some points in this years MOTM table!!!

All those three were hard to stop. Hall had his best game for us so far and Scruton is looking awesome. Whitehead is having a cracking season - as I said before, we need to look after that lad he's slotting in like the SL regular he has indeed become.



Kearney could have been in there, and in truth really should be. But then who drops out?



And hon. mention to Beaver again. Quite a few could have been candidates though.



EDIT: the badger makes a good point re Hall vs Kearney. For the time he was on, Hall stormed it IMO, whereas Kearney was excellent nearly all match. Guess already starting to fall into the trap of taking him for granted... Leave my rankings as is - its great to have rather more contenders than slots.

As already mentioned Scruton and Beaver were great again. Honourable mention to Wagga who played the full 80 I think.



Hall would have taken the top spot had he played a little longer I feel as he was immense when he was on but Macca gave Koppy a little longer than usual.

Unfortunately I went for a pee and missed a whole minute of the second half, so I probably didn't get a grasp of the game properly and I don't think I'm qualified to vote!

My votes should also be removed then as my view was obscured by the steel pillars keeping the roof up.

I missed a couple of minutes when going to the bar.......maybe mine should be retracted....?



On the bar issue, I didn't reckon much to having to cut across two rows of people to get there due to the dug out area being chained off!

I don't think the people I walked in front off were too impressed either, I received quite a few "bl00dy hells" along the way. I decided to watch the rest of the first half stood at the end of the stand and waited for the chained area to be opened at HT.

I hear Worrincy played a blinder in that minute, you'll just have to take my word for it.

You were really trying to get to the bar before the rush and avoid getting a round in!

I was stood two rows behind him (dunno if he realised) so I know exactly what he did and did not do!

I definitely didn't realise! Damn, that now also gives away that my alleged pee also didn't happen and I was just, excuse the pun, taking the p*ss.



I suppose now I've been shown as a liar and it's been established I did see the whole game, I should vote.

And af, you can't fool me. Although despite my personal dislike of Worrincy's abilities, I would have cheered him for ever more if he'd have chinned one of Dewsbury's cheapshot artists as he looked like he was going to!

I gotta say I was impressed with Olbison in his brief stint. I gotta think there's a reason why he's not getting more of a chance, especially when Worrincy was in poor form.



With the likes of Whitehead, Donaldson & Olbison, as well as the Burgii and Addy, we've got every right to think of a potentially superb homegrown pack in a couple of years.



(And I also echo what people have said about Whitehead, he's been superb)
